4. Google Drive Backups

If you choose to connect Google Drive, Skoola requests only the Google Drive app-data permission. The app uses this private application folder to create, find, restore, and delete its own chat and homework backup files. It cannot browse or change your other Google Drive files, and it does not use Google Drive data for advertising or sell it.

You control backup creation and restoration from the app. You can disconnect the Google account or delete Skoola backup files from Settings. Backup files remain protected by your Google account and Google's platform security; this release does not add a separate custom-encryption layer.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS protocols.
