In a semi urban corner – called as Nandura of Maharashtra, the school is running under the aegis of Shree Vardhaman Jain Educational & Research Multipurpose Foundation (Jain Minority Institute), Nandura since 2001-02 and patron by us from 2005-06. This is co – educational school. Being a unique institute we ensure to retain and uphold the basic commitments of the society in ensuring excellence in all fields including academic progress. Here children are treated as young buds that must blossom to complete flowers and spread their sweet fragrance all around as a significant achievement of the institution. It is really a transformational chapter in my life to occupy this post with all dignity and honor. I feel it has impelled me to feel proud and privileged to carry on the responsibilities of the school as the head .To me, the school, no doubt, a testimony to hard work, knowledge, experience, system, care, efforts, development and all other essential elements required for perfection of human life and society along with the true spirit of education and values.
Education not only restricts to the intellectual development of a human being but also opens his mind to go beyond the horizon of what he gets by reading from books and find answers to the inexperienced problems that to come on the journey of life. Thus education empowers students to discover themselves in the world of quest and queries. Each and every child at the beginning of schooling possesses that potential which can make lead him/her to be a doctor, engineer, teacher, sports person, social activist, diplomat, economist or any other personality but it is the teacher who channelizes that potential and gives the right shape. We have not exaggerated the greatness of the famous Indian multifaceted personality like Sir Jagdish Chandra Bose by naming our chemistry lab after him. The school has been able in setting up a well-equipped, ventilated and specious lab for chemistry. We pay our special attention to each and every individual child with extensive care about allergic problems of some of the exceptional students. The teachers and lab assistant keep all hazardous chemicals away from the reach of the students. Even those chemicals are used for experimental purpose; we ensure safety of the students. The area of this lab is enough for more than 30 students at a time.
In order to offer our tribute to the Indian Ayurveda physician Sashutra, the school has named its Biology lab by this name. It has enough storing capacity for all types of chemicals required, test tubes, slides cover slips, beakers, and flasks and so on. The various models and life size skeletons along with a large number of charts make t5he lab a center of learning for students. We are planning to provide an autoclave, a refrigerator and an incubator chamber very soon. All experiments are undertaken by the students in a complete sterile environment.
In keeping the great contribution of the first in the line of great Indian mathematician and astronomer from the classical age in view the school has named this lab. Here the students explore the properties of Quadrilaterals, discover various Centers of a triangle, spend time on plotting and understanding graphs of various functions and appreciate beauty of mathematics. Students do their research for various projects. The lab is equipped with all mathematical shapes, charts and instruments.
Today’s generation is quite contrasting to the generation which had no accessibility to satellite communication system. It is equipped with sufficient number of experimental sets. It has the capacity to accommodate more than 35 students in one group for their respective experiments much comfortably.
