Help with Skoola Employee Attendance

Use this guide for the employee-attendance app. Do not include face photos, descriptors, enrollment templates, passwords, session details, or one-time codes in a support request.

Start with your school administrator

Your school controls administrator access, employee enrollment, attendance corrections, and payroll policy. Employees should first contact the administrator or HR team responsible for attendance at their school. Only an authorized Main Admin or School Admin should use Face Capture, Reports, or Settings.

Sign-in and first-use help

  1. Confirm the phone has a secure screen lock, working internet connection, and correct date and time.
  2. Ask an authorized administrator to sign in and select the exact school.
  3. Confirm the app opens Face Capture and shows Face Capture, Attendance, Reports, and Settings.
  4. Allow camera access only when Android asks during face enrollment or attendance scanning.
  5. If sign-in or school selection is unavailable, confirm the account is an active Main Admin or School Admin for that school.

Scanning help

  • Use even lighting, keep one face in view, and remove anything that fully obscures the face.
  • Read the face-data notice and consent to that scan before continuing.
  • A first verified scan records punch-in. A later verified scan may require confirmation before punch-out.
  • Scans less than the configured cooldown—never below 60 seconds—are ignored to prevent accidental duplicates.
  • No match can mean the employee is not currently enrolled, the image is unclear, or the face model is incompatible. Ask an administrator; do not repeatedly scan or enroll another person.
  • If photo cleanup cannot be confirmed, the app blocks further scans. Keep the app installed and ask an administrator to retry cleanup or support.

Attendance, payroll, and privacy requests

The school's administrator can review punch times, correct an inaccurate attendance record with an audit trail, explain late or half-day settings, and review salary deductions. Employees should use the school's HR or attendance process for access, correction, retention, objection, restriction, or deletion requests. Some records may need to be retained under employment or other applicable requirements.

Read the Employee Attendance Privacy Policy for details about transient photos, enrollment templates, and live face-derived descriptors.

Lost, replaced, or untrusted phone

Sign out immediately if the phone is still available. If it is lost or untrusted, ask an authorized administrator to revoke the account session and review access. Reinstalling the app is not a substitute for server-side revocation.

What to include in a technical request

  • School name and the administrator's work contact.
  • App version, Android version, phone model, and approximate time of the problem.
  • The visible error message and steps that led to it.
  • Whether the issue affects sign-in, Face Capture, Attendance, Reports, Settings, punch confirmation, or cleanup.

Never send a face photo, 128-value descriptor, enrollment template, password, session token, or OTP.
